Nokia Asha 302 ini direlease pada Maret 2012. Ponsel ini menambah deretan seri Nokia Asha. Kalau di lihat idalamnnya menggunakan sistem operasi s40 dan telah didukung prosesor berkekuatan 1 GHz. Nokia Asha 302 ini juga mempunyai fitur membawa push email, kalender, dan kontak yang bisa disinkronisasi dengan Mail for Exchange. Fitur ini  digadang-gandang  sebagai yang pertama kali di ponsel seri s40.

Untuk fitur kameranya, pada Nokia Asha 302 dibenamkan kamera 3,2 MP namun sayangnya tanpa autofokus dan lampu flash. Dan juga dapat merekam video, meski tak terlalu baik, hanya 15fps dan resolusi VGA. Fitur konektifitas nya sendiri lumayan lengkap seperti WiFi, Bluetooth, HSDPA 14.4 Mbps, HSUPA 5.76 Mbps, 3G dan GPRS.
